Last weekend at New York Comic-Con, we attended the premiere and after-party for "The Walking Dead: A Decade of Dead," a documentary showing the development of the comic book and TV juggernaut. After the film, we had a chance to talk to Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and of course asked about the spin-off. You're never going to guess where the show is set:
Robert Kirkman: It’s going to be a new location with new characters, it won’t be dependent on the previous show at all.
MTV Splashpage: It’s Walking Dead in Space, right?”
Kirkman: Yes! It’s Walking Dead On The Moon.
So there you go, folks. Definitive confirmation that the spin-off of "The Walking Dead" is set in space. How do the Walkers get there? And will it take place on a moon-base, or just have some zombies walking around on the blue area of the moon? The mind boggles with the possibilities. All we know is, now there's no reason to ask any questions about this whatsoever.
